Of cushions and summer...

Oggi voglio mostrarvi una parte del nostro soggiorno, una parte molto a tema con la stagione estiva.

Today I want to show you a part of our living room, this part goes well together with summer.

Il soggiorno non è ancora arredato del tutto, al momento abbiamo solo l'essenziale....il divano però l'abbiamo avuto da subito.

Our living room is not completely furnished yet, at the moment we have the essential furniture....but we have had the sofa since the beginning.

 Dopo tanto tergiversare, alla fine sono riuscita a convincere il maritino a prendere il comodo l'Ektorp di Ikea ed ora ne siamo felicissimi.

Afer  shillyshalling with my husband, finally I was able to convince him to get the comfortable Ikea Ektorp and now we are very happy with it.

Mi piace arredare il divano in base alle stagione, in realtà mi piacerebbe fare questo discorso per tutta la casa...ma diventa un po' problematico. Adoro questi cuscini marini. Li trovo stupendi. 

I love furnishing our sofa on the base of the season of the year, I really would like to furnish the whole house on the base of the period of the year...but this is a little bit problematic. I love these cushions. I think they are really wonderful.

Sebbene adori il punto croce, non li ho ricamati io. Li ho acquistati ad un mercatino di Idea Donna diversi anni fa, e sono i cuscini comparsi sulle riviste Le idee di Susanna. 

In spite of the fact that I love cross-stitch, I haven't embroidered them. I bought them in a market of Idea Donna some years ago, they are the cuschion that have been showing in the magazine Le Idee di Susanna.

Si, avete capito bene, proprio i cuscini fotografati nelle riviste....ogni tot anni la casa editrice organizza dei mercatini in cui vendono tutto il materiale ricamato per essere fotografato ed inserito nelle riviste.

Yes, you well understood, I mean exactly the cushions pictured in the magazine....every number of years the publishinh house organized a market where they sell everything have been embroidered and put in the magazine.

 I prezzi erano veramente ottimi. Quest'anno, nel periodo natalizio, è stato organizzato un altro mercatino.....a volte però non sempre si viene informati in tempo.

 Prices were really cheap. Last Christmas they organized another market....but somtimes it's not easy              to get informed about it.
