...ORTENSIE...

I would like to have a garden to grow plants and flowers I love....I would certainly have some HYDRANGEAS...I would have a big bush...

...Before buying our home, we never thought to have a garden...there where we lived, it would be unithinkable living at the ground door...but then we moved to another place...and we would have to think seriously...it would have been wonderful...

...I'm starting to be on familiar therms with my blog and above all with the pictures setting...very slowly and thanks to my husband Marco's help, I am learning...and finally it's not difficult at all...

deliciuous strawberry ice-cream !!!

Here I am to show you another recipe....I don't want to make of this blog a food blog, but the final result of this recipe was so excellent that I couldn't help but showing it to you.

After the stracciatella biscuit-icecream, I was affected by a strange form of MAKING ICE-CREAM ALWAYS MAKING ICE-CREAM...and I was very curious to try to make other tastes os ice-cream.....because of my love for strawberries, I thought to make strawberry ice-cream.

I followed this recipe, and it was very deliciuos.

Ingredients:

200gr of strawberries
120 ml of full cream milk (I used nonfat milk)
200 ml of whiiping cream
100gr of sugar
a spoon of lemon juice

Preparation:

Wash the strawberries and cut them into little pieces, whisk them together with sugar and lemon juice so to have a creamy result. Add cold milk. Whip the cream and add it to the creamy strawberries delicately.
Then I followed the same method that I made here, so I put everything into a pan, folded with baking paper and I left it in the refrigerator all night long. The day after cut the icecream, using the biscuit cutters.

Before putting the icecream in the refrigerator, I added some halzenut cut into very little pieces.

I must say that the result was really delicious.

fantastic ice-cream

Following Giuliana's experiments, I wanted to try another her recipe (This one)...as I said in the other post, I used the other part of the biscuits dough to make the biscuits for the ice-cream....I was too curious to see the final result...and this time too I had no word...this recipe is very easy and really delicious..

It is a perfect idea for who has got children, this biscuits ice cream is a healthy snack without any kind of preservative...or for who loves biscuit ice-cream!
The biscuits recipe is in the other post (I did the size for 250gr of biscuits and 250 gr of ice cream, I reduced  Giuliana's size)

Per il gelato invece questi gli ingredienti:
250 gr di panna liquida
2 tuorli
25 gr di zucchero
25 gr di cioccolato al latte

Procedimento:

Tenere in congelatore.

Ingredients for the ice-cream:
250gr of  whipping cream
2 yolks
25 gr of sugar
25 gr of milk chocolate

Procedure:

Whip the cream and leave it in the fridge. Whip sugar and yolks for 15 minutes (I used an elettric mixer, but I think you can also do by hand), add the whipped cream and the chocolate made in little pieces. Cover a baking pan with baking paper and put the dough inside the pan. Put it in the refrigerator all night long
Next morning leave the ice cream for a while out of the refrigerator, until it get softer and cut it with biscuits cutters and put it between two biscuits.
Keep in the refrigerator.

Io li ho conservati in congelatore  e tengono bene. Ottima idea anche da offrire agli ospiti.
Vi assicuro che è una vera bontà. Grazie Giuliana!

I keep them in the refrigerator and they are ok. It's a nice idea to offer to your guest too.
It's really fantastic! Thanks to Giuliana!

....making biscuits...

it was a long that I wanted to make Giuliana's shortbread (di cuore), she's got a fantastic blog, I love it.....her recipes are delicious and her pictures really original....it's one of those blog that I can miss now....because of my diet, I have always postponed doing them, but then the time arrived...

Cuocere a 180°.

...this is a very easy recipe, the dough had a good consistency, I left it in the fridge all night, covered with plastic wrap, as Giuliana advices....I rewrite here her recipe, since it was my first time I tried making half quantity (250gr):

250 gr of flour
125 of butter
75 gr of icing sugar
1 egg
a pinch of salt
spices you like ( I used a little bit of cinnamon)
Cook in the oven at 180°.

Then I had fun in using different kind of biscuits cutters..ahhhhhhhh I love them...oh yes, they are never enough for me...and if I find a new one or a different one, it must be mine....while I was making biscuits I tried some food coloring that I had never used before...I used them on little quantity of dough, to see what was the final effect on biscuits....not bad at all....I would say....I didn't want to try too much, because I used the other part of the dough for another delicious recipe, that I will show you next time.

I love strawberry jam !

Last weekend I spent some of my time making strawberry jam. Unfortunately I 'm not very fond of fruit (unfortunately because fruit is healthy !), on the contrary I usually eat only some of them, like peaches, pineapple, coconut and strawberries. I love strawberry jam, so why shouldn't I try to make homemade jam that is more deliciuos and healthy ? I like "making" in the kitchen and since I am on a diet, I can't make anything I would like.....so now I have something to make...eh eh eh

Quindi ho chiesto la ricetta alla mia mamma (che aveva già fatto la marmellata per me l'anno scorso)  e comprate le fragole mi son messa all'opera....

I asked my mum the recipe (she did strawberry jam for me last year) and after buying strawberries I started...

It was very simple...making strawberry jam, I think, is simpler then with other fruit....the result.....deliciuos and creamy as I like...

Vi scrivo la ricetta, davvero molto semplice:

INGREDIENTI:

I write the recipe, very simple and easy:

INGREDIENTS:

1 kg strawberries
500 gr sugar
1 bag of Fruttapec ( I bought the kind to use with 1 kg of fruit and 500 gr of sugar)

Peel and wash the strawberries. Put them in a pot (you can avoid to cut the strawberries into little pieces) and leave them cooking slowly since they are very soft and creamy. Blend the strawberries and leave them getting cold. When everything is cold, add sugar and 1 bag of fruttapec and put the pot cooking again. Whe it is going to boil, rise the heat for about 3 minutes. Turn the heat off and put it into glass case. Close the cases very well, turn them upside down for few minutes and leave under a cover until they get cold.

On Sunday we tried the jam...it's was really delicious!

...spring and flowers...
